1. What Are Cookies?

LoyalClip also uses localStorage — browser storage that functions similarly to cookies but is accessible only by JavaScript on the same origin and is not sent to servers with each request.

This policy covers both cookies (HTTP cookies) and localStorage items used by LoyalClip, as both store data on your device. We refer to all of these collectively as “cookies” throughout this document for readability.

2. Cookie Categories

Essential cookies

These are necessary for the LoyalClip platform to function. They enable core features like authentication, booking, and payment processing. Without these cookies, the service cannot operate. Essential cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how professionals and clients use LoyalClip, which features are popular, and where the experience can be improved. All analytics data is anonymous — we do not link analytics events to your identity. Analytics cookies are only placed after you grant consent via our cookie banner.

Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies enable referral campaign attribution and may be used to show LoyalClip advertisements on other platforms you visit. These cookies are placed by third-party advertising networks and are only activated with your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. How to Manage or Opt Out of Cookies

Via our consent banner

When you first visit LoyalClip, a cookie consent banner appears. You can select “Accept All”, “Reject Non-Essential”, or “Manage Preferences” to fine-tune which categories you accept. Your preference is saved and remembered for subsequent visits.

Reset your preferences

To change your cookie preferences, open your browser’s Developer Tools (F12), navigate to Application → Local Storage → your LoyalClip domain, delete the key lc_consent_v1, and reload the page. The consent banner will reappear.

Via browser settings

All modern browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these in “Privacy” or “Security” settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent LoyalClip from functioning correctly. Browser-level instructions:

Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection.
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.

Opt out of analytics

If you have opted into analytics cookies and wish to opt out, you may do so by resetting your consent preferences as described above, or by installing your analytics provider’s official opt-out browser extension.

Opt out of marketing

You can opt out of interest-based advertising from Google via adssettings.google.com, and from Meta/Facebook via your Facebook Ad Preferences. You can also use the NAI opt-out tool at optout.networkadvertising.org.

5. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

LoyalClip may contain links to third-party websites. These sites have their own privacy and cookie policies, and we have no control over them. We encourage you to review their policies before interacting with their content.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or relevant legislation. Material changes will be notified via our consent banner and/or email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
